DITA Exchange can be tested by a department or an organization in a private Trial Project.

A Trial Project is usually running over 30 days and includes the following steps, performed by the DITA Exchange Team:

Setting up a private, SSL encrypted DITA Exchange site for your company.

Setting up 3-5 Named Users from your company (to test specific use cases)

2-3 XML Experts (Technical Writers)

1-2 Subject Matter Experts (SME's)

Give End User Training to the Named Users (normally 2 hours, web-based)

Give 30 days full phone and/or email support throuhgout the Trial Period

Assist your company in evaluating the outcome and provide 'best practice' input
