For decades we have been talking about 'information at your fingertips' as a brilliant and easy to grasp concept. Unfortunately this concept is not that easy to implement in the normal working life...

The problem is often two-fold:

  • We don't know how to find the information we are looking for. Search is OK, but does not help much because I'm looking for a specific tabel on page 37 in document 356...
  • The next problem is (once I've found the information) "is the the current version of the content, or am I now forwarding in-accurate information to the customer, partner, vendor or...?"
